Prometheus is one of the ancient Titans who sided with the Gods against Chronos and the others of the old order. When the war was over he cultivate the intelligence of the primitive ancestors of the humans, helping to kinder within them the spark of creativity and conscious self-awareness that would lead them to glory in the Golden Age of long ago…the time before Promethean Fire scorched the planet…when his creations got a bit too clever for their own good, for which Prometheus was summarily punished by Zeus.
