Chloe ---22, Werewolf daughter of a Gypsy Tribe

Personality[]

Chloe is as much like a pet as Lenore’s girlfriend, always affectionate and eager to please, yet fiercely loyal and protective against anyone who threatened those under the werewolf's protection.

Background[]

Chloe is from a tribe of Romani-descended Gypsies who live in California. They were all born as Were-folk so Chloe was born knowing how to shapeshift at will and her powers are functional even during the day. A bit wild around the edges, but hardly the rampaging, mindless brutes you see in Hollywood flicks. She and Lenore first met five years ago in Budapest. Lenore was half dead when she stumbled into Chloe’s village. Because of the animosity between the tribes they were going to kill her but Chloe stood up and defended her, saying it wasn't right to kick her when she was down, and that Vamps were not all bad just because of the bad blood that exists between the werewolves and certain tribes of the Blood Nation. It was thanks to Chloe and her grandmother that spoke on her behalf that Lenore survived long enough to heal back from her injuries, and then that crisis hit where the guy she was chasing down went and kidnapped Chloe’s, which really unleashed a real hornet's nest until Lenore was able to prove that he was a hybrid Immortal.

History[]

When Lenore was tasked by Frank to look after Kasumi she left Chloe in LA. However since she considered Lenore a member of her pack and the closest thing to family away from the rest of her tribe Chloe quickly grew lonely without her. This combined with how ominous Lenore made her assignment sound caused her to trail Lenore to the airport and sneak aboard a plane. It took awhile for Chloe to find Lenore and it was only after catching her scent on the outskirts of Tokyo before she was able to track her down.

No sooner had Chloe placed Lenore then she pounced on the redhead and bore her to the ground, immediately licking her face and enthusiastically straddling her with the kind of happy puppy-dog greeting that one might expect had she been the four-footed variety of canine rather than a two-legged Lynchanthrope who currently in her mid-transitional state.

After calming down and getting off of her Chloe shifted to her human form and explained why she was there before Lenore could assure her that she wasn’t in that much danger they both caught a wife of a Shinma. Lenore was surprised that it was it Larva the errand boy for the Princess. On Chloe’s suggestion the two followed him. They followed him for a little over a couple of blocks before they saw him meet up with one of Dimitri’s Ghouls. This shocked Lenore as Miyu hated Dimitri so as Chloe pointed out they were either working together or Larva. With either scenario being bad Lenore decided to report in to Frank.

Seeing that Larva just wanted to know what Dimitri was doing in Nerima the two were about to leave when Chloe accidentally knocked over a trashcan alerting Dimitri as well as Morgan and Raptor to their presence. Before they could escape they were surrounded by Dimitri’s Ghouls. The two friends fought back-to-back as they managed to back out of the narrower tunnel into an adjoining lower sewer where they had more room to maneuver, yet still they were being pressed hard by the gray skinned decaying creature, the lower minions of Dimitri seemingly endless and without number. Chloe could not even made full use of her abilities due to the basic repulsion she had for these foul-smelling animated corpses, the taste of which flesh would be as bad as eating poison. Though relatively slow-moving their sheer weight of numbers was taxing, and even at full strength Chloe could barely handle more than five or six at a time, leaving the rest to Lenore, who covered for her backside.

Unfortunately they were quickly wrapped up in Anakaris’s bandages. Dimitri demanded to know why they were there and who sent them, but Lenore just insulted him. Though Morgan quickly figured out that it must have been Frank. Resigned to their fate Lenore apologized to Chloe for getting her in this mess, but Chloe reminded her that she was there of her own free will. Just as they were about to be killed they were saved by Kiima cutting of Anakaris’ hand and freeing them. She then teleported them away before Dimitri and the others could do anything.

Frank found the Lenore huddled together with Kiima and Chloe who he was surprised was in Japan near to some trash cans. Waving off formalities Lenore informed him of their run in with the vampire as well as the fact that he had his Dark Pack with him. Frank was just figuring out what to do when they were interrupted by the arrival of Mei-Ling and Tsien-Ko who were escorting the Blood Mother of Tribe Tsiel Ling-Ko. While angered that the Vampire tribal leaders were holding a meeting in Nerima Frank was more focused on Dimitri. Hoping that it wasn’t to late to deal with the problem. At that moment Miyuki and Natsumi speed by in their Suburu with a hoard of Goya chasing after them.

Mei-Ling and the others including the trio of Lenore, Chloe and Kiima, along with Blood Mother Ling-Ko, Princesses Miyu and Yui, their respective male companions and---lastly---a dusky skinned M'shulla and a somewhat red-faced Leguire arrived at the Tendo Dojo to find Julian already there along with Donovan and Frank as well as the new Slayer. Identifying Nodoka as the matriarch in charge Ling-Ko requested temporary sanctuary promising that no harm no harm would come to her or hers and that none of her companions would seek untoward advances. As Frank vouched for her Nodoka and Nabiki saw nothing wrong with letting her stay.

With that settled M'shulla and Leguire brought Yasmina into the house so that they could revive her. Miyu was surprised when Nodoka recognized her and began to wonder if---perhaps---she might not have underestimated this mortal on their first encounter. With so many undead in her presence the Natsume was forced to leave prompting Kuno to ask if she needed to see Tofu again. This clued in Nabiki that that was were Kasumi must have gone. However Miyuki and Natsume decided to opt out as they had had enough excitement for one night as well as the fact that things were starting to go outside of their jurisdiction. Given how dangerous it was to be wondering around Frank told the two to wait at the dojo and he would call them a cab in the morning. Before leaving Frank warned Lenore to stay out of trouble until he gets back. From their Ling-Ko began to undo Yasmina’s crysalist process.

As she did Lenore, stood apart from all of this with her companions, Chloe and Kiima as awed Lenore and Chloe were to be in the presence of the Blood Mother they preferred to do it from a safe distance. After Yasmina was revived Genma Soun and Happosai finally returned home. Happosai immediately succumb to his usual antics. Julian desperately asked the Saotomes and Tendo patriarch to call him off, but there was nothing they could do.

As Ling-Ko went into a blind rage trying to kill Happosai Chloe dug a foxhole her and Lenore to hide behind until she calmed down. Ling-Ko apologized again and despite Nodoka’s protest insisted that she owed her blood obligation and had Julian see to it that the Tendo family was duly compensated. After that they began to focus on what to do about Dimitri

Lenore explained Genma and Soun what was going on causing Genma to change into his cursed form so that Vampires wouldn’t try and drink his blood. Chloe assured to the two that nothing would happen as they were under the Queen’s protection. Though Kiima was still worried about Dimitri Laguire brushed her off as he Yasmina, M'shulla, Tsien-Ko, Mei-Ling were interested in Genma and Soun’s Shoji game specifically the fact that the two were cheating.

When BB-Hood and her mercenaries attacked the house Lenore, Chloe and Kiima found themselves in the middle of a free-fire zone with snipers taking pot shots at all three of them, to no effect as the bullets only went harmlessly through the body of the ghost-girl. Still the three took cover. After Ling-Ko was captured BB ordered Miyu, Nagi, Yui, Larva and the other remaining vampires, including a netted Yasmina, who had all been herded together into the center of the yard and were being held there at gun point to be killed.

They were saved by Nodoka who held her sword against the BB-Hood’s neck ordering the rest to lower their weapons. Unfortunately since Jeddah had hired them they ignored this warning and began to open fire. Luckily Julian there and decapitated both before they could pull the trigger. However this distracted Nodoka allowing BB-Hood to escape and open fire at her. Genma disappeared just as swiftly as he had appeared leaving BB demanding to know where they went. By this point Julian had begun exchanging blows with Lilith. BB was about to join in when she was knocked out by Lenore.

Before her men could retaliate Chloe popped up in their midst, fully transformed to her Werewolf incarnation and laid them out in a matter of mere seconds. At the same time Kiima dealt with Queen-B by seemingly dissolved and surrounded the remaining Darkstalker. Lenore dusted her hands then turned to regard Miyu as she patted herself on the back. Miyu was about to congradulate the Loire Vampire only to be too late to warn her when Rikuo arrived an attack her. He also attacked Chloe and Kiima who did the only thing she could under these circumstances to dissolve her mist and teleport to safety, leaving the victorious feminine figure dominating the field, along with the silent Cyborg figures holding up the plate-like device upon which was trapped a struggling Ling-Ko.

That was the moment when Nabiki and her Posse arrived, accompanied by Talbain and the others, who took the battlefield in at a glance before all attention turned towards the flaming giant at the far end of the yard. However Pyron not wanting to continue fighting merely teleported everyone away. M'shulla took the worst of the initial battle and was being attended to by Donovan and Frank. The bullets that struck him fragmented and spread throughout his body working like a poison affecting his system and preventing him from healing himself back. Frank attempted to operate on him to pull the fragments out but M’shula who new death was immanent refused as he was prepared to meet his end. Especially since he lived long enough to witness the birth of a new Queen. His final words before his death was to tell his tribe that it was his time, save Ling-Ko, and for Yasmina to take care of herself. With those words he slumped and became immobile...and before their very eyes he began to dissolve into mist, and then he faded away altogether.

As Yasmina threw back her head and screamed out M'shulla’s name even Leguire bowed his head as Donovan made a formal gesture for the departed. He, Frank and Jeddah contemplated the fact that was both alive and pulling the strings. Kurumi suggested that they just go after the attackers, but Mousse quickly calmed her down noting that they couldn’t be sure that the info given to them by Raptor was reliable. Kuno quickly agreed.

Though as Frank pointed out even if the info Raptor gave they didn’t have enough to rush into things without getting the full score. John agreed worried about what would cause so many enemies to work together. Leguire surprised everyone by agreeing as well pointing out that the last thing any vampire would want is the death of the human race his primary food source. Keiko took it in stride as she was more worried about Nabiki who Frank was eventually able to convince to meditate so she didn’t rush off by herself to save Ranma. By this time Yasmina’s grief turned to anger forcing Frank to sooth her so she didn’t do something stupid. Seeing Leguire smirk Yasmina turned her wrath his way and demanded to know what he found so amusing. He just commented on her youth stressing that only by careful planning can you overmaster your enemies. Nagi was discussed as it sounded like Leguire admired Dimitri. While he didn’t admire him he did appreciate the intricacies of his schemes. Miyu and Larva promptly told him to be quite as there are few here who appreciated such schemes the way he did.

At that moment Yui and Himiko sensed just how horrible Jeddah’s plan actually was. This prompted Raptor to taunt them stating that they would all be dead soon. Seeing as he just revealed that he did have more knowledge of what was going on Frank, John, and Donovan threatened get that info out of him. However Raptor wouldn’t budge. It wasn’t until Lenore tortured him by breaking his hit tapes in front of him that he talked. Revealing that Jeddah and Dimitri were attempting to resurrect someone that’s Dimitri absolute dominion over all the vampires.

With the clue that it was someone he hates most in all the demon worlds John was able to figure out that Dimitri and Donovan’s father Mor'ghul Devilspawn. While everyone tried to figure out why Dimitri would do such a thingAnita suggested that it was because he wanted revenge which he could only achieve by bringing his father to Earth. Donovan realized that Anita was right but Dimitri didn’t want to kill his father but steal his powers.

This confused Keiko who thought that Vampires already had the powers of a Rakshasa. Leguire explained that while their powers resemble that of the Rakshasa their nature is as far removed from them as apes are from humans...and the power is attenuated by being spread out across the entire breadth of the Vampire Nation. Lenore and Yasmina went on to explain that by absorbing a God-level Rakshasa Lord Dimitri would gain the power to command even Blood Queens and Masters.

Kasumi surprised everyone by asking what they could do to prevent it from happening. She explained that it was as much her problem, so it stands to reason that she should use her new abilities to help prevent Dimitri and his allies from doing great evil. However Natsume was quick to point out that Kasumi wasn’t a warrior. Kasumi wouldn’t relent as she felt responsible. When Miyu asked how it possibly could be her fault. Kasumi answered that it concerns her family so obviously it concerns her as well.

Donovan agreed as since Kasumi was a queen her abilities could be used to counter or even cancel out Dimitri's own dark power. This reminded Lenore, Kiima and Chloe about the connection between the two. Larva was also reminded how Maximoff was becoming agitated and uneasy during their brief conversation and realized that it was because of this. By this point Nabiki had calmed down and asked how she could kill Dimitri. Julian began to explain the various ways to kill a Jezril vampire. Frank went into further detail when Kuno asked why wood was so effective. Kurumi was the first to ask about holy symbols but was shot down by Donovan who explained that the it was only the belief in the symbols that held power not the symbols themselves. Hearing this Mousse asked him to look over the various religious items he had. Yasmina asked where he was pulling all those items from but Keiko just told her not to ask. When Nabiki asked if regular martial arts was sufficient Frank replied negatively as a vampire could regenerate fast enough to negate the damage. However Happosai quickly disagreed.

As Yasmina reflexively hugged herself to protect her breasts from exploitation he also called Nabiki out on the fact that she was so focused on saving Ranma that she forgot about the fact that Dimitri most likely will have absorbed the Kamasenken from him. Miyu quickly asked what the Kamasenken was and upon Kuno’s explanation Larva blurted out his wonderment that such a method existed earning him weird looks from Miyu, Nagi, Himiko and Yui. Keiko wasn’t worried however and much to Nabiki’s embarrassment she revealed that Nabiki had developed a variation of the Kamasenken as she was the primary beneficiary of the attack.

Unfortunately she couldn’t bestow upon the rest a fighting chance when they go up against the legions of Dimitri. So Donovan revealed his plan to have Kasumi, Nabiki and Natsume share blood allowing Kasumi to gain Nabiki’s knowledge of martial arts and Natsume to awaken her potential as a Slayer. Before she agreed Nabiki asked Donovan if he was suggesting this from his professional view as a priest and exorcist...or as a man who wants revenge upon the demon who gave him birth. When Donovan's mouth quirked in what might almost have been a smile on another man's freaking both Frank and Talbain out and replied was there really that much of a difference Nabiki agreed.

However before they could the Enforcer’s arrived. Frank asked who called them and was surprised that D was there as well and revealed that they were called by Ling-Ko. Julian informed them about the attack, Ling-Ko’s kidnapping, as well as the fact that it was Jeddah who was running things. Upon hearing that he was trying to resurrect Mor'ghul the Enforcers attempted to take charge of things. When Nabiki and the others started to protest they threatened to put them into protective custody.

Natsume and Kuno were about to attempt to fight them only to be stopped by Lenore. They finally revealed themselves as Arkadians when Miyu asked how they expected to take on Dimitri by themselves. Another fight almost ensued when they addressed their wish to take Kasumi the new queen. At this point D finally put a stop to everything. Telling them to ease up and hear what Kasumi had to say and much to everyone’s surprise they did just that. This allowed Donovan to explain the details of his plan and the effects that he was hoping to create. Even the brawny Enforcers registered alarm when they heard this, but D only stared from beneath the lip of his broad-brimmed hat. Intrigued that Donovan himself would make such a suggestion D allowed them to go through with it.

After Nabiki and Kasumi shared blood while everyone was getting over watching such an intimate moment Nabiki called her sister out for biting her bosom. This caused Himiko to chime in saying that the breast is the place where she liked it best herself, especially when Miyu-chan is the one doing the biting. Natsume finally removed her hand from Kuno’s eye in order drink Kasumi’s blood only to be stopped by D as Kasumi still needed time to let the borrowed memories settle in before she could shares her blood with her. When Kasumi was ready D gave her his knife so that she could cut her palm and allow Natsume to drink her blood. Natsume was still reluctant until Happosai reminded her that Anything goes wasn't just a slogan he cooked up. Drinking the blood caused Natsume to enter into a trance-like state this infuriated Kurumi and before anyone could stop her licked Kasumi’s palm as well. D and Donovan explained to a distraught Mouuse that Kurumi had elected to become Natsume’s protector and entered into the dreamstate with her.

Soun suddenly appeared at their gathering, along with Genma and Nodoka asking what happened to his daughters. Leguire was about to tell them to mind their own business only to be shut up by Yasmina driving her elbow into his stomach. When they noticed that Nodoka bore Ling-Ko’s mark making her and her family a part of the Tsiel tribe the Enforcers left to inform the council. Moments after they left Morgan appeared wishing to form an alliance as she realized that the Kamasenken had made him to powerful which would only become worse if he absorbs his father’s power. Everyone agreed that they couldn’t allow that to happen but before they could leave Donovan revealed the final step of his plan giving Kasumi a Bloodstone.

Morgan tried to warn them about how dangerous that was but before she could Kasumi grabbed the stone and all at once light exploded in the palms of Kasumi's hands, and as she and the others gasped and looked on in amazement the thing came to life and expanded, and all at once its radiance burst forth and bathed the entire Tendo yard in the pink-hued glow of an exploding star as Kasumi rose up into the air, suddenly transfixed in the light of a holy radiance that transported her beyond all time and spatial conception...

When Kasumi returned to the mortal plane of existence the awed expressions of both her family and the Darkstalkers greeted her. Kasumi gently touched bare feet upon the ground once again and felt the folding of wings behind her back as her dress altered abruptly and strange markings briefly appeared upon her face, to fade away moments later, leaving her much the same in appearance as before...yet somehow radiating an inner light that was breathtaking.

Nabiki was the first to break the silence bringing everyone out of their stupor. Though Larva was the first to remember Morgan’s warning and asked her why she thought it was a bad idea to give it to a Queen. Morgan explained that according to legends...if you do so, then a Queen can be transformed into a goddess.

Only Donovan seemed unaffected by the transformation, and when he asked if Kasumi was ready to rescue Ranma and stop Dimitri Kasumi’s affirmative reply had a musical quality to it as the slight movement of her head caused the unusual set of earrings that she was wearing to reflect the light...revealing the fact that one of them was quite obviously a miniaturized Bloodstone.

Lenore Chloe and Kiima were left at the dojo to watch over Raptor while the others went to stop Dimitri something she was not happy about. Raptore jokingly suggested they let him go if they didn’t like the assignment, but Lenore wouldn’t have any of It as she knew he would just run back to Dimitri forcing the three of them to hunt him down. When Raptor laughed at the thought of them being able to do anything to stop him. Lenore assured him that he shouldn’t take them lightly. She also revealed even have their on act and call themselves the Immortal Nightbreed. The three even went so far as to provide him a demonstration of their talents. Raptor was honestly impressed unfortunately this filled him with enough positive energy to overcome Donovan’s wards and before they knew it Raptor broken free. While Lenore tried to stop him Raptor proved to be to strong luckily since she was a fan he decided to just incapacitate them and leave for Dimitri. After freaking out over his escape though more worried that Frank would cut off their expense account then the fact he might be bad causing Kiima to call her out for spending beyond her means.

Lenore, Kiima, and Chloe arrived just as a war-zone was breaking out in the formerly sleepy graveyard adjoining to the suburbs of Nerima. The vampires and their allies, plus several dozen heavily armed police officers and SWAT team members were all caught by surprise as the gateway flung open and admitted a mass of hideous, swarming shapes that swooped down over everyone before the impulse to shoot could reach those with fingers on weapon triggers.

While a shocked Leguire and Yasmina tried to figure out what happened Lenore just launched herself at the monsters and slashed them with her hand, which automatically distended nails as sharp as claws that tore into the Rakshasa flesh and caused the creature to scream as though its very soul were being torn from its body. The same could not be said for the various policemen and women under siege by the winged beasts, and before anyone could do more than squeeze off a single shot the wave of nightmarish horrors was upon them, and one by one the humans went down, engulfed by the enfolding flesh envelopes that the creatures used to entrap their victims. Miyuki and Natsumi were the first to fall prey to these horrors but were fortunate enough to have allies near to hand who were quick of wit and twice as homicidal. Leguire moved before the Rakshasa even knew there was a vampire in their midst and suddenly the two engulfing the off-duty policewomen were sliced cleanly open, waves of energy leaching out from the creatures into Leguire as he fed upon their deaths, growing stronger in the process as he turned to lash out at other creatures that were only just then turning to confront him.

Eighteen policemen and women perished while their comrades looked on in horrified amazement, while yet more of their number succumbed to the Rakshasa, even as the remaining officers finally gave into their warrior instinct and unleashed a deadly salvo of bullets and buckshot, all to little avail as much of their projectile weaponry passed harmlessly through the ethereal bodies of these predatory creatures. However Nodoka proved to be less impotent than the rest, and her sword was of finer tempered steel that could slash through anything, either living or unliving. Rakshasa after Rakshasa met its end with a high-pitched scream as she wove a deadly pattern with her family's katana and claimed every creature that came within reach of her all-too-effective sharp-edged weapon.

Seeing Genma and Soun cowered behind a pair of headstones she snapped at them to fight. Genma seeing his wife standing alone in the midst of their adversaries, then spotted the discarded Naginata left behind by Natsume and snatched it up, turning it into a helicopter-blade like glaze of steel and fury that began felling Rakshasa at a distance, soon rivaling the total racked up by his wife in fallen and dissolving demonic bodies. While found the hilt of a sword being handed to him by Leguire and was soon fighting for his life with the rapier being wielded Chinese-style and Soun fighting furiously to reach the side of his best friend and Genma's wife, the three of them holding their ground against the deadly tide seeking to overwhelm them.

Meanwhile Julian was darting about with his twin blades, slicing through Rakshasa as if weaving a dance of death that cleared the center of all evil creatures who came anywhere near him. Chloe had already taken on the bestial form of her ancestors and was slashing Rakshasa with powerful blows that left dissolving bodies everywhere within her wake. As for Kiima, the first Rakshasa who came near her learned to its ruin that her ethereal nature was altogether deadly to its kind as she seemed to expand and contain the deadly creature, then tore him apart as effectively as if he had been subjected to a quisinart, leaving nothing behind but rapidly dissolving pieces.

Unfortunately there was just too many of the Rakshasa to staunch the tide. Soon Yasmina found herself fighting back-to-back with Leguire, standing guard over the remaining humans, who had somehow managed to wind up huddled together between several overturned police cars. A desperate Lenore asked what they were supposed to do to which Julian could only reply that they fight until they drop. Leguire was about to reply by Natsumi asking him how they could kill the Rakshasa. Him telling her that she need to hit them right where the pineal gland would be located in a human was all she needed and she took a revolver borrowed from a fallen comrade and place three quick shots into the foreheads of the nearest of the Rakshasa.

Now that they had a fighting chance she and Miyuki began betting on who could kill the most. Which reminded Leguire what he liked so much about humans. They were finally rescued by the arrival of Eve who came vaulting high into the night air spitting rockets of death into the massed ranks of the Rakshasa. The Rakshasa ranks snarled viscously and started to advance, diving mercilessly at the lone giant of a woman, yet somehow Eve seemed confident and proud as she stood at the ready, and then the battle was joined in a bloody no-holds-barred fury as tempered steel began to weave a deadly tale of feminine fury...

Lenore was the first to ask he fellow survivors what they should do now that fended off an invading army while managing to keep their heads. Chloe cheerfully suggested that they go to Disneyland only to be stopped by Kiima who softly explained that wasn’t what Lenore-san was intending by her comment. Taking notice of the way that Doctor Tofu was busy tending to the surviving humans in their midst she contemplated all the lives lost.

After the Enforcers took Dimitri into custody Dracula arrived to deal with his Dark Pact. While Morgan as Queen of Makai was out of his jurisdiction the same couldn’t be said for the rest as Raptor and Dark Wulf meant a swift end. He first banished Raptor’s Immortal essence to another plane more suited to his nature. He then summoned Tentacle arms that rose up to wrap themselves around Dark Wulf’s limbs and torso, drawing him down into the pit as it swallowed him whole mere seconds later. Kasumi was horrified by this but told her that it was an old girlfriend of his who wanted to get better acquainted. Hearing this a disgusted Lenore didn’t want to know any more details while Chloe and Kiima silently stood in mute agreement. From there he bid everyone a due.

Given how late it was combined with the fact that she didn’t want to use her Darkstalker connections as she was a street kid at heart. Lenore decided to look up an old friend of hers Shido Tatsuhiko if they could crash at his place for the night. She went on ahead to ask him however by the time Chloe and Kiima showed up they found her backed into a wall by Rino and immediately transformed. Hoping to head off a worsening of the situation Lenore calmed Chloe down before asking Rino to introducing herself. She then took notice of Yayoi and Guni and immediately realized that she was Shido’s Familiar. Anticipating the unvoiced question Yayoi introduced herself. Now that she had an in Lenore hastily told everyone that she wasn’t an ex-girlfriend. Chloe took the opportunity to revert back to her normal (mostly) human appearance and stalk up to the side of Lenore, taking her arm and glaring at Riho in a forcefully assertive manner.

Lenore was shocked to see her closest friend acting so...territorial around her. While Rino blinked at the threat that the female werewolf had leveled. Kiima finally spoke up asking Rino about her relationship with Shido wondering if it prompted her leaping to an erroneous yet totally understandable misassumption. It was Riho's turn to appear somewhat uncertain and taken aback, regarding the ethereal Kiima with a wary expression. Guni teased her about crush on Shido prompting Yayoi to tell them to behave in front of guest.

Leneore finally got the chance to ask Shido if she Chloe and Kiima could crash there. Shido agrred to let them stay for the night provided they find a better place to stay the following day. He then asked her about the rumors about an intertribal war breaking out with Goya and undead leading an attack against an conclave that was meeting in the Nerima district...and then an outbreak of Rakshasa that needed to be contained by an elite squad of Darkstalkers, and on top of that the rumor of the birth of a new Queen vampire, and that Dimitri Maximoff was somehow at the source of all these problems. Lenore eased his worries telling him that Dimitri was old knews but as they were tired she promised to tell him all about it in the mourning.

Since then Frank commissioned the three to keep close tabs on the movements of Kasumi, something Lenore was obliged to do anyway since she was her goddess. While Natsume and Kurumi were well versed in battle they had been practicing together for nearly all of their lives, so they're each handily familiar with the others movements. So Tofu had them spar with a variety of tools well beyond that which has become their trademark. Since if she was to survive her appointed role as a Slayer of the Undead. Then Natsume had to must prepare for the unusual and unorthodox. So at Kuno’s suggestion Tofu had them train in Kendo as he counseled from the side and Lenore, Chloe, Kiima, Kunio and Mousse watched.

After nearly an hour Lenore began to complain as even she was in awe at the strength speed and skill of the two even Kurumi who wasn’t even a Slayer. Hearing this as he gauged the way his Airen was performing up against her sister as Mousse and Kuno explained the point of the exercise to the three and why the two were fighting so viciously. Hearing him praise Kurumi’s skill took the time to subtly tease him on their relationship to which Mousse replied as if only mildly ruffled in his proverbial Feathers. However he couldn’t ignore Chloe’s more blatant teasing so just chose not to reply while privately conceding that Kurumi had been blossoming out quite noticeably lately.

The fencing duel between sisters dragged out for close to forty minutes, an incredible strain for any ordinary human being to be certain, but in the case of the sisters it was a serious drawback. For Kurumi the effects of hunger were beginning to tell as she began to slow down somewhat in her attacks and counter-maneuvers. Natsume could fight on for a much longer period, needing far less calories to maintain herself than an ordinary person, but she was perspiring quite freely, having gone all out to match the speed with controlled strength to counter the offensives of her younger sibling. Droplets of water were falling from her body and staining the smooth wood of the dojo floor, and if matters progressed all that much further it was an open question which girl would drop to her knees first from sheer exhaustion.

Fortunately Tofu-Sensei saw this as well and decided to call a halt to matters, instructing the sisters to back away from one another while saluting with their blades, then kneeling in proper courtesy and returning their weapons to the side-sheathed position. After congratulating the two he gave Kurumi permission to eat while he spent a few moments with Natsume and like a shot she was out of the dojo, moving so fast one would never have guessed that she was ready to fall down on her face and go to sleep for a week in her present condition.

Tofu directed his attention to the kneeling Natsume congratulating her on her progress in such a short amount of time. This cause Natsume to briefly spared a smile in her iinazuke's direction, as she gave him the credit for being such a good personal trainer. Tatewaki fairly brimmed with pride as he rose from his feet and thanked Natsume for her praise while praising her skill as well. Natsume however was worried about the point of her training. While admitting that it was good to expand her arsenal of skills she planned on still using her rug beater as she wasn’t planning on carrying a booken all day like Kuno.

Hearing this Mousse offered to teach her the art of hidden weaponry like he did with Kurumi. Tatewaki spoke up to this favoring the other man with a cautionary glance before adding, that Kurumi could teach it to Natsume. Mousse replied that he wasn’t implying anything faintly bridled, though in truth he fully understood the other man's feelings in this matter. After all, among Amazons the mere offer of a new training technique could be easily misinterpreted as taking liberties with another man's woman. Amazons were normally quite zealous in preserving their family secrets, and the knowledge of special techniques were frequently guarded against casual theft by training in secret far away from the village.

The odd thing was, for the most part, he and Tatewaki got along rather well around one another, and being either engaged to actually wed to a respective sister made them brothers-in-law of a fashion. It was simply that, in some areas, male territorial imperatives were something of a reflex in both men. Oddly enough there was more respect than resentment felt here, and in that respect there was no real heat in either of their exchanges.

Unfortunately Natsume was not Amazon enough to understand the context of what was being debated here and merely understood that her future husband was behaving rather snappishly in return for what seemed to be an innocent offer. With just a hint of reproof in her voice she accepted Mousse’s offer to teach her. Both Tatewaki and Mousse were just beginning to turn a glance her way when all of a sudden they were interrupted by Reiko, who appeared at the doorway and rather urgently that Kurumi suddenly fainted.

Mousse did not give her time to finish explaining. He was already out of the dojo and moving with such speed that he might well have exceeded the velocity of his Airen. Natsume also made haste to vacate the dojo, followed in close measure by her future husband as Tatewaki hurried to match her pace. Tofu who had had his worries after seeing Kurumi’s performance near the end of their sparing followed to see what was wrong.

This left Lenore Chloe and Kiima alone. Lenore turned to her companions wondering if they notice anything amiss about the local speed demon. Kiima had perceived an unusual coloration in her aura but didn’t give it much attention. This caused Chloe to notice an unusual scent and upon mentioning it to Lenore she realized that Kurumi was pregnant. The three arrived just as Kasumi arrived to find everyone surrounding the fainted Kurumi. Seeing Kasumi there was a considerable difference in the way Lenore addressed herself to Kasumi as the redheaded girl bowed her head and acted with great respect and deferentialness as she told her that Kurumi was pregnant.

Chloe cheerfully trotted at the side of her companion, giving Mousse an added congratulation as his face drained of all expression. This was a shocking revelation to the others who didn’t even realize that Kurumi and Mousse had become that intimate. Since Mousse was in his own world Chloe told them that from their scent its been about two months. Soun finally managed to gasp out, realizing that Mousse got his little girl pregnant he started to advance upon him, only to be restrained by an observant Genma. While Nodoka calmly remarked that given the way things work in this family this was hardly unexpected.

The sound of the basket of food hitting the ground drew all eyes back towards Kasumi, and for a moment the oldest of the Tendo sisters appeared unusually pale (even for one of her condition). For a moment Kasumi did not acknowledge the question, but then she noticed the way that others were glancing at her. dismissing it she asked Tofu about Karumi.

While he wanted to run a few more test to make sure it was fair to say that sje was showing the early stages of pregnancy. Lenore reacted before anyone else could move, catching Mousse before the young man's head could hit the ground and easing him down to the floor of the patio where he had just abruptly fainted. Ironically by this point Kurumi was starting to wake up. Kneeling over her younger sibling and offering a solicitous, Natsume urged Kurumi to take it easy.

Tofu helped Kurumi to stand on her own two feet, then gently guided her towards the corridor, as she started to feel sick only to pause as Reiko stepped forward with a smile adorning her usually congenial expression. She and Nodoka felt that it would be best for them to inform Kurumi what was going on. And Reiko had a little sister of her own about Kurumi’s age who went through the same thing about a year ago. So she knew what to expect in this matter.

As Reiko and Nodoka led her away Kiima reflected in what seemed for her to be a very rate tone of amusement about how exciting this place was. Chloe agreed only to turn her head and ask where Kasumi went. Lenore whirled around, only to find Kasumi gone with only her spilled basket of heavy produce littering the ground in her absence. Kuno theorized that the discovery of Kurumi condition came as much of a surprise to her as it has to any other. Genma however felt that there was more to it then that given Kasumi’s reaction. Lenore paused to reflect on this realizing that while finding out that Kurumi was pregnant made Kasumi realize given her condition how problematic having a child would be for her. This brought the conversation to her and Franks relationship.

Mousse finally woke up as they were discussing this. Natsume fixed a hard look upon her "brother-in-law" and asked him when did he and Kurumi consummate their marriage. Mousse paled without getting up from where he was laying as his eyes registered the flood or recent memories that were no doubt passing through his thoughts in those few seconds before he rolled up his eyes once again and passed out where he was...which was fortunate since he had not moved from where Lenore had set him.

With that question answered Lenore felt that it was best that she track down Kasumi. Chloe decided to help while Kiima decided to remain at the dojo. And then she faded out from view, leaving the few humans still present to experience a collective and reflexive shudder at the ease with which the ethereal girl could come ago without warning. They found her at the park staring off into space afraid that she was in a trance or something the went to check if she was okay. Kasumi reassured both the vampire and werewolf that she was fine and was just talking to someone only to be pause in astonishment when no trace the man was left. Lenore still worried asked is the man gave a name. However when told that his name was Anri her hand fell away from her sword as she turned an astonished look towards Kasumi. Pulling herself together she made sure to get all the information she could from Kasumi about her conversation with Anri. When Kasumi asked what was wrong Lenore informed her that Anri only appears when trouble is coming. After hearing this Kasumi decided that it was time to find Akane and Nabiki. Chloe was right on it picking up their scent so and leading Kasumi and Lenore to it.

They arrived back at the dojo only for Mousse to suddenly land in front of them. With puzzled expressions the three turn to see Ryoga storming vengefully towards them. Immediately sensing something wrong Lenore took two steps forward and drew her rapier from beneath her cape while Chloe shifting back into wolf form. However Ryoga just moved his hands so fast that they created vacuum-daggers out of thin air that pelted both vampire and werewolf and sliced through both fur and skin with great abandon, sending both girls reeling. Both Akane and Nabiki cried together, when Kasumi stood alone in the path between Ryoga and the still helpless Mousse. Facing the angry berserker she tried to get him to calm down only for him to advance on her.

Alison tried to stop him only to receive a backward knuckle-strike to the chin that caught her off guard and sent her tumbling backwards. Ranma then attempted to trap Ryoga in a mini-cyclone using Karina. Ryoga reacted with surprising speed of his own and brought both of his hands together, causing a shattering boom to fill the air and a huge vacuum surge to disrupt the flow of the winds, sending Karina tumbling backwards up against a tree, where her ethereal body momentarily was disrupted. Now that he was free Ryoga rounded back upon Kasumi, only to dodge instinctively as Keiko performed a handspring kick that nearly connected with the side of his head. Instead he moved again with greater speed than expected and snagged that leg, whipping Keiko around and hurtling her into a charging Tatewaki, which in turn sent both of them sprawling.

Ryoga finally did attack Kasumi, only to be met by a speed, coordination and timing that vastly exceeded his own estimations. To all eyes it appeared as though Kasumi merely stepped to one side and moved around behind Ryoga, then reached out with a hand to lightly touch him on the neck. The results, however, were quite startling as the young man sank to his knees and landed face-first in the dirt where Kasumi had formerly been standing, and like that the fight was taken out of him. He lay there as still as a corpse for several minutes while Akane and the others hurried to his side in order to check upon his condition.

As they were checking on their friends and wondering what made Ryoga go off like that. Lenore noticed a Dark Fairy so battered, bruised and bleeding Lenore as she leaned on Chloe with one arm and pointed at Ryoga with the other hand. All eyes turned to stare in dismay as the fairy pulled itself out from the side of Ryoga's head, emerging from his left ear. The dark fairy tried to take off only to be snatched out of the air by Kiima. Kiima explained to every one what it was as she crushed it at which point she released it and let it fall into a jar that she had produced from seeming no where, stopping the top and sealing its motionless form inside a fitting prison.

From there everyone attempted to figure out what was going on. Not wanting to rely on the Amazons Nabiki wondered if their resident dabbler in the arts, Gosunkuji could help. This caused Ryonami to all but seemed to materialize right then and there. Taking the jar from Kiima's ghostly hand and passed it along to her faithful assistant. Nabiki had Ryonami take it to Gosunkuji.

Kasumi turned to regard her vampiric companion checking if she was okay. Lenore assured her avowed Mistress that while she didn’t heal as fast as Chloe in the daylight, but the cuts she took were...mostly superficial. By this point Ryoga had woken up and as they explained to him what was going on Shampoo had someone carry Mousse to the dojo while she called Cologne for help. Nabiki started to protest but Shampoo was adamant that it was best to consult an elder when faced with mysterious happenings. Kasumi agreed as well and worried about Ryonami being alone with the fairy asked Lenore to see that she arrives save and sound without interruption of her visit to Gosunkuji place.

Lenore and her companions quickly caught up with Ryonami. While she tried to convince them that she would be fine since Kasumi had asked her personally Lenore wouldn’t budge especially since the rouge Elemental was strong enough to overrule both of Ryoga’s Oni and Human natures. Seeing she wouldn’t convince them Ryonami relented and commented on how hard it was to think of Lenore Chloe and Kiima as a Ghost, Werewolf and Vampire...for all the differences that exist between them, they didn’t seem all that different from many of her classmates. Lenore and Chloe explained that the vampires and werewolves seen in the movies weren’t the norm but did concede that they were hardly what mortals would expect them to be which was why Ryonami found herself so at ease around them.

As the three explained exactly what the thing was to Ryonami which turned into a discussion on monotheism and the nature of both sides of the dimensional boundaries between Earth and the planes of Light and Darkness. Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of Angelique d'Anjou. Lenore froze in disbelief leaving Kiima to ask Angel what she was doing in Japan. When she explained that she was on mission at the request of Frank and asked where the Tendo dojo was. Ryonami who found herself unaccountable stricken with awe at the gentle-mannered foreigner found her voice. Angel then explained that she would be Furinkan’s new nurse before she left allowing Lenore to come to her senses.

Ignoring Ryonami’s question of who that was Lenore began to wonder what Frank was thinking in hiring Angel. She quickly figured out that he’s never seen her at work in the field. Ryonami once again asked what was so wrong with her. Kiima explained that while Angel wasn’t a bad person she is something like a catalyst who causes certain things to be in motion by her very presence. The four of them then hurried off to cover the remaining few blocks that separated them from the Gosunkuji household.

As the others watched over the fairy Gosunkuji leafed through the moldy old book that had long been gathering dust upon his bookshelf trying to figure out what it was. Eventually he theorized that it was a Bogart. He then proceeded to show how dangerous this thing was by tapping the jar trapping the evil sprite with the eraser end of his pencil and saw the little thing bare wicked teeth as it extended its wings and tiny claws in a most disquieting manner. Seeing the change Lenore realized that it was actually a Hate elemental. She was about to tell them the Demon Lord who was there source when she when Frank called who informed her that Nabiki had been kidnapped. Snapping the phone shut she told everyone what happened and they all left to join the hunt hopping to find Pantyhose Taro before he hurt Nabiki.

Gosunkuji reluctantly followed his companions as they went to the Kuno mansion to check up on Kodachi where they would hook up with Frank to find out what happened to Tendo Nabiki. Ryonami followed as well as she had to know what happened to Nabiki. As they were walking they sensed a demon. Tracking it down they discovered Morrigar just as she was about to induce labor in Akane. Lenore wasted little time in attacking. No sooner had Morrigar began to realize that Lenore was a vampire when she was attacked by Chloe. While initially taken by surprise Morrigar wasn’t really worried about the two. She even joked at the two being friends with humans. It wasn’t until Kiima intervened that Morrigar backed off as Kiima’s nature confused her.

The four quickly checked up on Akane Lenore having to catch her as the field levitating the girl collapsed. As Akane was still in a trance they took her to the Kuno mansion as they wondered where Ryoga was. Coming into the room they presented Akane to Tofu before explaining what happened. By this time Kodachi had recovered enough to ask about Akane, but Tofu calmed her down before handing her the freshly washed and cloth-swaddled Tokomo. Kodachi reached out to accept the infant into her arms, and then her face lit up like the sun as she embraced her newborn daughter, even as Keiko leaned closer to see, holding her own breath as if afraid to awake the infant, who seemed tiny and barely developed for all that she had taken so much out of her mother. The others were gushing over the baby as well when Lenore informed Tofu that Akane was going into labor as well.

Given the fact that the two were giving birth to each other so soon this brought every ones attention to the fact that Shampoo, Ukyo, and Nabiki conceived at the same time. Kodachi ordered Keiko to go rescue Nabiki. She also convinced Natsume and Tatewaki to go as well. The prompted Chloe to ask where Ryoga was. They were informed that he went a head along with Mousse and Perfume in search of Ranma, Nabiki and Taro. Kurumi tried to volunteer but was quickly shot down by Natsume do to her condition and they needed someone to watch Kodachi and Akane. Ryonami tried to help her by stating that Gosunkuji could protect them as he was training in magic. Much to his surprise. She also tried to use Aiko but she was going as well. Before they left Beatrice gave Aiko a tracking device to help her find Nabiki.

The group found him just after he defeated Perfume. He started to turn back when he was attacked by Kuno, Natsume and Keiko. Recognizing her Taro attempted to get back up only to be knocked down by Alison. He was quickly surrounded by them as well as Lenore, Chloe, and Kiima. Seeing this Taro activated his curse. Despite the combined strength and skill of the Tendo Posse they quickly found themselves largely overmatched by the cunning Taro, who led a merry chase through the woods, deliberately springing traps that caught several of them by surprise and caused the others to tread their way with more caution. Alison found herself dangling by one leg from a tree, Natsume pinned between two tress and the wooden spikes studding their sides, Kuno in a pitfall, while Lenore and Chloe floated side-by-side in a mud pit that felt very much like quicksand. Only Kiima and Keiko remained at liberty and in a condition to fight, but both were finding it difficult to overmaster a Taro who stood ten feet at the shoulder and had the power of several raging bulls at his disposal.

Kiima was able to convince Keiko to use the Shadow Skill, unfortunately summoning the power to use it gave Taro enough time to shift from defense to attack with such speed and power that Keiko had no time at all to brace herself for the transition. Luckily she was caught by Guile. Glancing beyond her shoulder to view the towering form of the monster Guile instantly took him as the bad guy which Ryoga and Mousse quickly confirmed. Much to Mousse’s annoyance Ryoga surged forward, lacking the subtlety or experience to know better. It did not take long to learn first hand the folly of underestimating Taro. With great ease the monster moved to the side and stepped around behind the charging Ryoga, and then a single back-kick sent the boy tumbling head-over-heels into the side of a boulder, which shattered upon impact. Mousse then used his chains to wrap Taro up.

As the posse explained to the confused Guile what was going on Taro had not wasted the time. By carefully testing the tensile strength of the chains he had learned all that he needed to know and now by expanding his chest he applied greater-then-imaginable pressure to cause the thick links to expand and snap like worn out buttons. With yet another flex of his arms he shattered them the rest of the way, sending chunks of broken metal whipping out in all directions, and then he snatched out with a hand to grip the end of one of those chains, which he began to spin around over his head with the clear intent of using it against his would-be tormentor. But Guile did not remain idle himself and at once unleashed one of his patented "Sonic Boom" offensives, surprising Taro, who was forced to throw the chain in its path rather than be scorched by the Ki blast, which was a cautioning illumination. Guile was about to attack only to pause at the arrival of Angel.

The sight of yet another crazy entering this never-ending fray was beginning to tire even his considerable patience. So when Angel pulled her sword from concealment and moved at once to threaten Taro he lunged forward to quickly deal with her. However she moved even faster than he was prepared for, her sword scraping the ground and kicking up a storm of rock, dirt and gravel that pelted him like a shotgun blast, and then she was upon him with her sword blazing a lightning-swift series of strokes that caused him to stagger backwards, not immediately in pain though a few seconds later the sting of numerous cuts and bruises made him aware that even his tough hide was vulnerable to being sliced into ribbons.

The fight was over in practically no time at all. Taro had belatedly attempted to lead his opponent into one of the remaining snare traps that he had set in these woods a few days before, but the blonde uncannily seemed to sense the threat and avoided it as though some little birdie in her ear had warned her of its presence. The effort cost Taro what was left of his flagging reserves, and he stumbled and fell backwards...and all at once the blonde was over him with sword raised over his head, ready to deliver the final blow like a well-practiced executioner completing her given assignment.

Only to be stopped by Happosai who popping up almost miraculously before the enraged paladin, having taken the time to unzip her aluminum suite so that his tiny hands could have ready access to "the goodies." Angelique staggered away, removing one hand from the hilt of her sword as she tried to pry the pervert from her chest while Taro looked on in frank amazement, not quite able to comprehend the fact that he had just been rescued from the certain fate of not needing to shave every morning. It took but a few moments before the blonde managed to liberate herself from her unwanted attachment, but then she took the time zipping her suit back up rather than immediately charge after the little man, which was just time enough for Happosai to change Taro back.

After Happosai explained Jusenkyo to her Angel realized her mistake and lowered her blade. By this point Frank and Trudy had caught up as well. Pegging Angel and Trudy as working for him Guile was immediate sympathetic when Frank informed him that they were freelancers. Everyone was about to force Taro to tell them what he did with Nabiki when he suddenly got to his feet and before anyone could stop him he activate his curse again. Angelique raised her sword while the others assumed immediate fighting crouches, but only Trudy remained where she was, directly in the path between the monster and Happosai. At a glance she appeared to be no more than a slender obstacle easily removed from his approach towards his dreaded master, but all at once Trudy moved and then stepped away...and Taro blinked in astonishment...then slowly began to keel over backwards.

As the others were stunned that that Trudy was able to take Taro out in one move. Frank and Angel made sure that she didn’t kill him. With that out of the way Happosai led everyone to the cave Taro stashed Nabiki. Upon hearing that she had gone into labor Angel, Frank and Keiko ran off ahead. While Guile and Trudy helped free Trudy and Chloe whose faces were barely above the level of the mud as well as the others.

Cammy and Chun-li grabbed Taro and everyone made there way to the cave holding Nabiki. Upon getting there before anyone could say anything Kaneda roared to life and stormed his way out of the cavern. Ranma sensed what his wife's male incarnation was about to do and tried to stop him. Kaneda’s fist erupted with a powerful Ki-bolt that was aimed straight at Taro, but which would nonetheless catch everything else up in its path. Guile sensed the wave of energy, saw that Cammy and Chun-Li were too close to the blast, and that they each carried one of his offspring on their backs, and so he moved without hesitation, placing himself in the path of danger while raising both arms and calling up his own Ki to form a defensive shield. The wave hit him like a wrecking ball, but with both legs braced he was able to absorb and then repel it, sending it rebounding back the same way that it had come, which unfortunately left both Kaneda and Ranma in its path...and beyond them a still slumbering Nabiki, with baby at her own breast. Luckily Kasumi was there to intercept it.

As Kanada apologized Happosai bounded forward, placing himself squarely before Taro. Disgusted by Taro’s actions he agreed to give him a new name. From now on Taro would be referred to as Shithead Taro. Taro fell to his knees, and the two women holding him decided not to bother trying to support him. Angel called Kanada out for acting so rashly retrieving her helmet, mounting her motorcycle and, taking off in a blur of dust and leaves down the side of the trail at a reckless speed that left some of them as breathless as of her beauty. Chun-Li and Cammy could not help but follow the blonde with their eyes, having only briefly been exposed to her magnetic charisma. Kanada apologized to Guile who noticed that he was becoming transparent. The spell Kasumi used to craft him was ending causing him to be leached back into Nabiki.

Lenore and Chloe tried to wash out the mud and gunk but couldn’t get all of the scent off so when they reminded Kasumi of Akane they stood down wind. Seeing this Kasumi used her abilities to clean them. She then informed Frank that she would be happy to debrief with them when they were alone together surprising him by her unusually forward and sensuous tone.

Angel, Trudy and Takaharis convened an impromptu meeting of paranormals at Takaharis's place, informing Lenore, Chloe and Kima about the attack at the school. Though they tried to calm her down Lenore was appalled that she missed it. They were just as frustreated by their inability to put David down until the end. Trudy and Angel finally expained the nature of the Kurustani and the Temuvarai to everyone. With that Lenore bid her farewell as she went to go make her report to Frank, Chloe and Kiima still trying to assure her that it wasn’t her fault. Trudy decided to leave as well since Carla would soon be arriving in Japan.

Frank like Chloe and Kiima assured Lenore that she wasn’t at fault upon giving her the full story. When she wondered who would have the clout to hire a Kiren half-breed he explained Otono Reyabi and the Umakusa Suekazan to her. While he didn’t blame her he did stress that because of the attack he was heightening security for the Nerima region. Lenore didn’t complain. Though as he was assigning her more work he in avertedly revealed that Udan was in Nerima meaning that his siblings weren’t far behind. Hearing this Kiima’s tone and expression showed an entirely human level of dismay, and were it possible for her to be any more pale or translucent then she would have exceeded Lenore's ashen continence.

Despite everyone’s assurance that it wasn’t her fault Lenore still felt guilty for not being there to help Nabiki. So she decided to investigate what happened herself. So she took Kiima and Chlow to Shinjuku so they could meet up with an old friend of hers named Kuroi. Kiima and Chloe instantly sensed something wrong with him so Lenore explained that he was a Crow. After exchanging pleasantries Lenore explained to Kuroi what happened. He agreed to look into things for Lenore. After he left Kiima pointed out that she didn’t tell him about Otono. Lenore answered that she wanted him to confirm Frank’s suspicions. The three began freaking out when they realized that umakusa wouldn’t hire just one hitman. Lenore flew as fast as she could to the Tendo dojo, leaving behind two members of her unearthly team, who wished her haste on her way to avert yet another possible tragedy in the making.

When they found Lenore Chloe promptly bowled the redhead over, planting kisses and tongue-licks over her face while the redhead sputtered in affectionate protest. Kiima asked if they missed anything causing Ranma and Nabiki to exchange looks. Lenore and Chloe lay side-by-side together in the warmth of the bed that they were sharing, reminiscing about the first time they met. Much to Chloe’s frustration they were interrupted by Kiima who reminded them that it was two thirty in the afternoon and they had work to do. Lenore was shocked to realize that it was daylight and not only was she awake but felt perfectly fine. Chloe didn’t really care and wanted to go back to bed but Lenore wanted to know what was going on and she still needed to attend to Kasumi. She then startled everyone by accidentally setting the dresser on fire with a wave of her hand. After extinguishing the flame Lenore could only stare at her hand as though it now belonged to someone else, feeling something akin to fear mixed with a curious sense of exhilaration. She finally realized what Udan did when Kiima reminded her that the Daokan had resurrected her. With that the three left so that they could discover Lenore’s newfound limitations.
